What will work for you depends on the products you use, your hair and your lifestyle. Below are general guidelines about how often to do different types of washes

Wash-and-Go with Conditioner
- Frequency: 2 - 3x a week

Wash-and-Go with Shampoo + Conditioner
- Frequency: 1x a week to every other week

- Moisturizing Shampoo
- Conditioner

Wash-and-Go with Clarifying Shampoo + Conditioner

Frequency:
- Every 1 to 2 months if you're prone to little product build up. In other words, you use water soluble ingredients and don't apply raw oils (like shea butter or cocounut oil straight from the tub).
- 1 to 3x a month if you are prone to product build up. In other words, you use products with petroleum derived ingredients and high molecular weight silicones (like dimethicone and amodimethicone) or often apply raw oils to hair.

Psssst.. Did your product "stop" working"?
Sometimes your body and hair may go through changes making a product no longer appropriate. And, sometimes, you may just have a bit of build up.
Try a clarifying shampoo or try washing your hair multiple times with a gentle cleanser to remove excess product.
Be sure to wash your scalp AND hair shaft!
